Middle Way Mediation, founded by mediator Roderic Randolph Richardson in 2005, offers dispute resolution services to those who wish to end conflicts reasonably, effectively and without litigation.  Rod specializes in resolving the complex disputes of affluent families, including sibling, marital, branch and inter-generational conflicts, as well as disagreements over the management of trusts, estates, foundations and family businesses.  Rod also volunteers his time as a mediator with the New York State Unified Court System, mediating commercial and personal disputes in Civil and Small Claims Court, as well as community disputes and lemon law arbitration cases.  He is a certified mediator, trained and volunteering through the New York State Dispute Resolution Center in Manhattan, Safe Horizons, Inc.

Rod holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management and Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business (1989) and an BA in History from Columbia College, Columbia University (1984).  He is a proud graduate of the The Trinity School (1979).
